2015

In 2015, we managed to obtain funds to renovate the grave marker of Bronisław Mansperl, lieutenant of the Polish Legions.

Bronisław Mansperl was born in 1890. On 3 August 1915, he was assigned to the First Cadre Company of the Polish Legions as a corporal. In April of the same year he was promoted to the rank of second lieutenant, becoming an infantry lieutenant later on in autumn. He fell on 22 October 1915 in the Battle of Kukle in Volhynia. He was buried at the Jewish Cemetery in Warsaw.

Bronisław Mansperl’s grave was subject to conservation in 2015. His memorial was planned to be erected in the spring of 2016.

The project was financed from funds granted by the PZU Foundation.
