An international academic conference entitled “Olyka and the Radziwiłł family in the history of Ukraine, Poland, and Belarus” took place on 21-22 September 2017 in Lutsk in the Ukraine.

The event took place at the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University in Lutsk. The conference had experts in the fields of history, history of art, art and architectural conservation studies, or archive studies present their papers.  All presentations focused on the Radziwiłł family’s relationship with Olyka. The event brought over 100 people together and had 80 presentations given.

The conference was organised by: the Cultural Heritage Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage’s Department of Cultural Heritage Abroad and Wartime Losses, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk, the Volyn Oblast State Administration, the Volyn Oblast Council, the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University, the Ukrainian Geography and History Awareness Association, and the Volyn Regional Historical Museum.
